Working together · The fine print

Client policies.

A plain-language overview of how RAEN.Agency projects work. Your signed proposal and client agreement will contain the exact project-specific terms.

01

Project enquiries & scope

Every project begins with a discussion of your requirements. Before work starts, we'll provide a written proposal identifying the agreed services, deliverables, estimated timeline and fees. Work outside the agreed scope will be discussed and quoted separately before proceeding.

02

Booking & payments

Your proposal and client agreement will set out the booking payment, remaining payment schedule and due dates. Any third-party purchases or recurring subscriptions will be identified separately unless expressly included in your quote.

03

Revisions & changes

You'll have opportunities to review your website at the agreed project stages. The number and scope of included revisions will be stated in your proposal. Additional requests or changes to previously approved work may affect the cost and schedule, and will be discussed first.

04

Client content & communication

You'll be asked to provide the information, assets, access and feedback needed for your project. Please ensure that any text, images, logos or other materials you provide are accurate and that you have permission to use them. We'll communicate through the channels agreed during onboarding.

05

Project timelines & delays

We'll share an estimated schedule for your project. Timely content, feedback and approvals help keep the work on track. If required materials or decisions are delayed, we'll discuss any necessary changes to the schedule.

06

Domains & accounts

Your domain should remain registered in your own name and account. If RAEN.Agency needs access to connect your website, temporary or delegated access is preferred. We do not require ownership of your domain. Existing DNS settings, including business email records, will be considered when configuring the connection.

07

Hosting & other ongoing costs

Domain renewals, hosting or platform subscriptions, paid integrations and other third-party services may involve ongoing charges. We'll identify the services needed for your project and clarify who is responsible for each cost before launch. The client retains responsibility for accounts and subscriptions held in their name.

08

Approval, launch & handover

We'll confirm the agreed launch requirements and handover arrangements in your proposal or client agreement. Once the relevant work and approvals are complete, we'll provide the agreed access and handover information. Temporary RAEN.Agency access that is no longer needed can then be removed.

09

Maintenance & future work

Ongoing maintenance is not compulsory. Any post-launch support included in the original project will be specified in the agreement. Further updates, maintenance or new features can be discussed and quoted separately.

10

Cancellation & refunds

If a project needs to be cancelled or postponed, please contact RAEN.Agency as soon as possible. The signed client agreement will explain how payments, work already completed, third-party purchases and any applicable refunds are handled, subject to applicable law.

11

Ownership & portfolio use

The client agreement will specify the rights and deliverables transferred or licensed at handover, including any third-party licensing limitations. We'll establish permission before using client work or identifying a client in public portfolio materials.
